MIXTAPE REVIEW: BKnitts - WAVES

Rating: 9/10

The highly anticipated 5th release from Milwaukee wordsmith, BKnitts, is finally here. WAVES is a journey through his consciousness, struggles and triumphs as a man, and overall versatility as an artist.
"WAVES" starts with a melodic back drop and dark voice and goes right into the immediately warped & hip hop influenced "Coolin" where Knitts spits deliverable & on point wordplay over a feel good medoly influenced instrumental, reminiscent of a Dilla production. Other great joints include: "Waiting So Long", the jazz influenced "Colder" & the conscious conceptual ""For What Its Worth".
All in all "WAVES" sets trends and also represents music in a quality, original & traditional fashion.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. WAVES.
