QJP11 – Boom Boutta Bang

QJP11 – Boom Boutta Bang

QJP 11 inspires people to be real
with new single ‘Boom Boutta Bang’
ROCKY MOUNT, NC – In the opinion of Qwandale Jerome Pippen – better known as the hip hop artist QJP 11, which nods to his birthday on Nov. 11 (11/11) – too many people today pretend to be something they’re not. He just wants people to be themselves and quit hiding behind masks and personifications of something different. This is why he created the hot new song “Boom Boutta Bang.”
Taking inspiration from a life that has been a series of experiments – from tryingaaaaaa to be hood then going to college, and then rapping – QJP 11 created a song that not only will have people bouncing but also encourages them to embrace the unique qualities that make them one-of-a-kind.
“I start by giving that message to myself because I’m not trying to point fingers at anybody,” QJP 11 said. “None of those things worked out for me until I found rapping, and I finally found what I liked and loved. Don’t try to be a gangster if you’re not, or a college person if that’s not for you, or a rapper trying to be something you’re not. That’s what ‘Boom Boutta Bang’ means. It’s just a phrase I came up with that slides off the tongue, and I use it to call out people who are trying to be something they’re not. I’m different because I will bring something different to hip hop. I noticed hardcore gangster rap is not who I am, so I’ve found another route.”
QJP 11 said all of his music is an effort to emphasize his originality. He’s not trying to pretend to be something he’s not though he often tries new things from time to time. He also likes to make a Plan A and a Plan B and even a Plan C, just in case things don’t go the way they’re supposed to. Growing up, he was always moving from one place to another and he considers himself lucky to have seen so many different sides of life – whether poor, middle class or rich.
“Looking on the outside-in, no one knows what people really go through, but we stereotype people anyways,” he said. “Just because you see a big house or a small house doesn’t mean you know what’s going on inside. It could be broken on the inside but we look on the outside and try to figure it out. At an early age, I always had a thing for being creative – whether it was drawing or coloring or writing.  I just like being myself just how I am. All my life I was wondering who I was and what my purpose was. I tried to be a gangster but it didn’t work out. Then I tried the college thing and that didn’t work out, either. But when I rap, it’s like I’ve found myself and I feel a part of it. I started by giving the rap message to my friend who really wanted to be a gangster but didn’t have to because he was highly blessed already. I then started to realize I was talking about me too, because I used to want to be hood but I didn’t have to be. ‘Boom Boutta Bang’ means when you’re going through something and trying to figure out if it’s for you or not. If it’s not, then change to something else.”
QJP 11 said “Boom Boutta Bang” is the first single off an EP called “Listen to Understand” which is slated to drop before the end of August. He also said he’s working on lining up some performances in the next coming months. A music video for “Boom Boutta Bang” is set to drop on his YouTube channel later this month.

Dark Note - IMPACT

Dark Note – IMPACT

Lebanese music producers drop and make an ‘IMPACT’ in the music scene on world stage with new album ‘IMPACT’
BEIRUT, LEBANON – A new duo from the Middle East is bringing an intriguingly dark new sound to the world stage of music with an exploration of multiple genres fused into one. Dark Note – made up of friends Saiid Zeidan and Anthony Nemnoum from Beirut, Lebanon – represents cutting edge music with sounds that range from EDM, Trap/ Future Bass, Techno, Hip Hop, Pop or even Rock. Dark Note – named after their discovery of finding light in the dark – takes inspiration from ideas that seemingly pop up out of nowhere during times of introspection.
“When you’re in the dark and hear a cool voice in your head and you start thinking about how you could make that into a song, that’s what Dark Note represents,” Zeidan said. “There is no one who can make the same music we are making. We can do EDM,Trap/ Future Bass, Techno, Hip Hop, Pop or even Rock … all genres you might think of.  And when we bring that to a crowd, the crowd will go crazy and dance like never before. We will be known for our massive raves.  We won’t stop until we’ve reached the biggest stages of TomorrowLand, UMF, EDC, Ibiza and many more.”
Their journeys in music started separately. Zeidan started DJ-ing when he was 16 and was discovering his path in music production, while Nemnoum started exploring production and instruments at age 15. They eventually came together while studying mixing and mastering at a music academy in Beirut. They clicked almost immediately and discovered that the sounds and styles they were independently interested in sounded even better when brought together. The fusion of their two styles grew into a one-of-a-kind sound unlike anything in Lebanon … or anywhere else in the world!
After six months of hard work in the studio and sampling new music to live crowds during DJ sessions, Dark Note is ready to release their sound to the world through their new album “IMPACT.” According to Nemnoum, it’s a project that shows you a sneak peak of their skill through a diverse range of sounds – with one Pop song, a lot of Trap, and some heavy EDM along the way.
“It’s our first album and with it, we want to make a big impact,” Nemnoum said. “We have four tracks right off the bat that we think might make a hit.”
Those four tracks include “Demise” – an EDM/Trap fusion about breaking into someone’s dreams; “IMPACT” – another Trap song that is tailor-made for making a big impact on the club scene, like a “meteoroid striking land” ; “Star Crossed Lovers” – a slower-paced love song that touches on religion and traditions underneath a catchy hook that listeners will have a hard time shaking out of their heads; and “Trust In Me” – a commercial-ready  Radio/DJ friendly Pop song hit that will make you  dance and shake that ass.
The album is out now and distributed under EDM REKORDS LTD. They aim to provide the best music experience possible, shaking the ground by using their marvelous 808 drums and original sound designs. They currently have three other artists on the label and are excited for what the future might hold for them on the international stage.

Eazy and Rico - Outta Town Freak

Eazy And Rico – Outta Town Freak

North meets South on hot new track from Eazy and Rico
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL & BROOKLYN, NY – North meets South in a hot new single from hip hop duo Eazy and Rico, two long time friends who have collaborated on music over the years and developed a one-of-a-kind sound that breaks down all barriers. Their most recent single, “Outta Town Freak,” is yet another example of the kind of genre-breaking sound they’ve created – a sound that is not only turning heads in their hometowns of Brooklyn and Fort Lauderdale but in places all over the world.
Eazy and Rico first met when they were in middle school. Rico’s family moved from New York to Florida and he turned to music as a source of comfort during the transition. When he met Eazy at school, it was like meeting a kindred spirit, and the musical chemistry was there from the start.
“We’re like brothers now and it’s like nothing to work together because he is so easy to work with,” Rico said. “He usually comes up with beats and I come up with bars though he’s got some bars, too. It just comes out real nice. We have good chemistry – the North-meets-South kind of sound that comes out real good when mixed up. You get to hear both sides of the spectrum and because of that, no one out there can mess with us.”
“Outta Town Freak” is a perfect example of that originality. Eazy describes it as a “getaway, party-type song” about women who like to let loose while they’re on vacation. The catchy, upbeat vibe will definitely get people bouncing, and the various situations that the girls in the song get caught up in are the kind of stories that almost anyone can relate to and laugh at.
“They have a good time and things end up happening and they’re having a blast,” Eazy said. “The name of the song speaks for itself. It’s about being wild while you’re out of town on vacation. That’s why we shot the music video on South Beach in Miami. We wanted to show girls coming in town and having a blast on the beach on a beautiful sunny day with everybody celebrating.”
Music is a passion for these two friends. It flows through their blood, hearts and DNA. And as more people have supported that passion, it has fueled them more and more over the years. Though Rico has since moved back to New York where he’s pursuing an independent career, the two still collaborate on music all the time and are constantly in communication with one another on new ideas and sounds. They don’t consider themselves just rappers but artists because every song they release always paints a picture of their versatility.
“We’re excited to introduce the world to our unique kind of music,” Eazy said. “We get in the studio and magic happens. We’re going to wake up a lot of people to who we are. You’re going to see how versatile and different we are. We can do everything and we’re all about the lyrics. We’re bringing a different flavor when it comes to music and we want people to remember us for what we bring to the table.”
