Blackmagic Tuddadirt - Zero Tolerance

Blackmagic Tuddadirt - Zero Tolerance

BlackMagic TuddaDirt isn’t letting anything get in his way with new single ‘Zero Tolerance’

ELKHART, IN – BlackMagic TuddaDirt is a man whose name literally means Unbelievable Power Until Death. His music depicts just that. With his most recent release “Zero Tolerance” out, BlackMagic is truly proving that he is an unstoppable force.

BlackMagic began his musical career in the underground Midwest scene. “I started making music around 2008. I was kind of in the underground scene. I’ve always been a big fan of Midwest flow. I was just doing an underground thing for a while, and then I linked up with a promoter/DJ who is actually my manager right now. We’ve been linking and doing a lot of things in a lot of different areas. We’re really just trying to push the music. That’s where we are right now.”

Much of BlackMagic’s music is influenced by the underground scene and Midwest Fast Rap artists such as Twista and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. He also draws influence from Rap icons such as Scarface, Tupac and Biggie. “I am a pretty versatile artist, but I would say that my main sound is Midwest Fast Rap. I like to make sure that my music has a story to it. Really, my main goal is to create music with a substance to it. There is so much music out there that just sounds good but has no message, and that just isn’t the kind of artist I want to be.”

The sound of BlackMagic’s latest track, “Zero Tolerance,” is a mix of the Midwest and a down South aesthetic. He defines this song as being the music of the core of the Midwest and a form of the original Midwest Fast Rap. “This song is about going in one hundred percent and not accepting any excuses. It taps into the core of the Midwest which is what I represent. I feel like this track really focuses on the original form of Midwest Fast Rap. I think that recently, we’ve gotten away from that sound and “Zero Tolerance” really brings you back to it. It is like bringing the Midwest back to those original fans.”

“Zero Tolerance” focuses on the idea that you have to keep working in order to get the things that you really want. “The song is about being real. There are a lot of people out there who make music about being real and don’t really focus on what it takes to get there. That teaches people that they can hop into that fame without putting in the effort and that just isn’t true.”

BlackMagic hopes to create songs that will stand the test of time. “I don’t want to be a flash in the pan. I want to be somebody that’s going to be relevant 40 years from now, with songs that people are still actively enjoying. Really, I just want to make music that is timeless.”

BlackMagic has more to come. Keep an eye out for his next single “Enough is Enough” which is a more politically leaning track about the issues that are going on in the United States today.

Street Sinatra - Saved By The Yay

Street Sinatra - Saved By The Yay

Street Sinatra uses trauma of his life to inspire others on new album ‘Phenom’

LONDON, UK – Smooth flows meet gritty street vibes on the new album “Phenom” from London based Hip Hop artist Street Sinatra. Hailing from Woowich, Southeast London, Street Sinatra is well-versed in the journey of the underdog, and he shares those stories with a global audience on his new project which features the breakout single “Saved By The Yay.” Ushering in an all-new sound and vibe, Street Sinatra has worked tirelessly over the past year to release six albums, with “Phenom” marking his seventh completed project of the year.

“With this project in particular I wanted to give people a chance to gain more insight into the inner workings of my life,” he said. “All the way from the bleak to the triumph. It’s all a range of emotions that’s meshed with daringly big beats, classic melodies and cadences accompanied with smooth and swift flow changes. In short, it’s me displaying in short form all the different types of realms I can go into musically while also showing a part of my personality.”

Over the course of his young career, Street Sinatra has become known for having an adept ability to mesh classic cadences, phenomenal flows and emotionally provoking beats to convey his perspective of trials and tribulations for the young black man growing up in the inner city of London. With a hands-on approach, he produces, mixes and masters his own projects, displaying a multitalented range as an artist. And his unwavering determination not to cut corners makes him one of the hottest new artists on the scene.

This is perhaps best displayed on the debut single from the new album. “Saved by the Yay” is a literal depiction of the life of a young person living on the streets entrenched in drugs and violence. It’s a song that explores all the reasons why someone would choose to live that lifestyle knowing the short odds on living a long and fulfilling life when participating in a lifestyle of drug trafficking.

“It’s about a person who always looks at the glass as half full, which is what leads them into bad habits and a terrible lifestyles,” Street Sinatra said. “It’s presented from a kind of two-sided coin standpoint because I’m a young black man from the inner city London, and there are a heap of men in my position. But I prefer to examine the psychology of our actions instead of looking at the more shallow reasons why someone would enter that lifestyle. My whole idea behind this is to give listeners a peek into the mind of someone who would choose the street life so that there’s more understanding of that lifestyle and ultimately, so that more people can find their way up out of it.”

At the end of the day, Street Sinatra said he wants his music to be known for the unadulterated truth of the streets paired with vibes that are fun. He’s using the trauma of his life to inspire others by way of a different perspective with enjoyable beats and melodies along the way.

Hard Hedd SeddO - Keep It Moving

Hard Hedd SeddO - Keep It Moving

Two new singles from Hard Hedd Sedd0 light up the clubs with upbeat fun vibes

MEMPHIS, TN – Shelby County bred and Mississippi fed, Hard Hedd Sedd0 is a grinder who continued to pump out hit after hit. Operating out of Memphis, Tennessee, this veteran of the music industry has made a name for himself all up and down the East Coast. And now with the release of two new singles, he’s set to propel himself onto the global stage. “Keep It Moving” and “Take Over me” are two of the latest from this hit maker whose unique sound and style have gained him a large fan following throughout the U.S. A true talent and a rare find, this young artist brings a power to the industry that is very much needed in today’s day and age.

With “Keep It Moving,” Hard Hedd Sedd0 uses his natural gift as a musician to inspire others to push through difficult times and keep striving toward those dreams and goals that they’ve set before them.

“You gotta keep it moving,” he said. “You can’t stop even when stuff doesn’t go your way. With this song, I’m the trap. I’m just speaking subliminally. Once you shop me, you won’t want to go anywhere else. If you’re not shopping, keep it moving. Don’t leave a negative comment or anything, just move along. That might sound aggressive, but this song is really more fun than it is aggressive, which is what I’m all about. I’m more fun than destruction and gang warfare type of mentality. That’s what makes me stand out. I just wanna get the clubs poppin. I’m a strip club’s dream – put me on and the cash will flow. When my music is playing, nobody is thinking about grabbing anything but a piece of ass.”

“Take Over Me” is another single that’s lighting up the East Coast with its upbeat sound and unending flow of lyrics. Written as a stream of consciousness on his first day out of jail, “Take Over Me” is “God taking over me through the pen,” Hard Hedd Sedd0 said. It’s a song that he said will encourage people to put their lives in order and put things in perspective.

After doing a little time for selling drugs, Hard Hedd Sedd0 recently hooked back up with his mentor, Terrance Winters of Terwinmusic.com, and together they’re releasing a stream of new music. Hard Hedd said he hopes to do as much as he can in the coming months – from features to putting up “legendary numbers.”

“I’m here for a good time, not a long time,” he said. “I’m a big fan of wordplay which you will hear in every lyric. I have bars, and though I’m from Memphis, my sound is worldly. There’s no one dimension here. And at the end of the day, I’m about party and excitement. I just want you to lose it like you’re not worried anymore. When you come through the door and hear my song, it’s time to put the fun on. We vibin and I want to do the same thing to you – relax you and get you up there.”

Lil Jiggy - Love You

Lil Jiggy - Love You

YouTube sensation Lil Jiggy helps heal hearts with new single ‘Love You’

EAST COAST – Anyone who’s ever been through a hard breakup knows just how tough it is to get back on your feet and move on. East Coast artist Lil Jiggy offers a kind of pick-me-up track to all those trying to get back on their feet with his latest single “Love You.” With a catchy flow and a melodic vibe, this R&B and Hip Hop fusion showcases Lil Jiggy’s signature sound and style – a style that’s both young and fresh while also paying homage to some of the legends of the past.

“It’s a song that I’ve worked on for more than two years and it’s been getting a lot of good response from people all over the world,” Lil Jiggy said. “I’ve been doing skits on YouTube for a long time and as I’ve been building my audience, I’ve started doing music and putting videos on my channel. My first track, ‘Catch Up,’ did well that I decided to do even more songs, and ‘Love You’ is doing just as good, if not better.”

Lil Jiggy said aside from the comedy that comes across through his skits and his infectious smile, the sound that he brings through his music is something that makes him stand out in a crowded music industry. He said he’s proud of the fact that he can be so versatile, and that his work as an actor over so many episodes on his channel has helped him put in hours and hours of practice and perfection.

“My sound is just different because of that,” he said. “I can give somebody a love song, or I can come a different way and give you more of a hype song. I can give you two types of melodies. Plus, I was originally born in Brazil so I can also sing in Portuguese and give you more of that Latin feel. I started as a YouTuber, but I’ve become more of an all-around artist and I want people to take me seriously for my music as well as my YouTube videos.”

At the end of the day, Lil Jiggy said he hopes his music is known for inspiring others and helping them through whatever difficult times they might be facing. He’s excited about the future, as he already has a couple of collaborations lined up and he’s looking to get some features on new singles that he’s written. One single in particular is slated to drop at the end of December.

YNX 716 - Fake Love

YNX 716 offers optimistic outlook with new album ‘Glass Half Full’

BUFFALO, NY – YNX 716 is a Hip Hop lyricist from the rough and gritty streets of Buffalo, New York. His latest single, “Rap Fans” is a prelude to his hot new album, “Glass Half Full” which is slated to drop across all streaming platforms before the end of the month. Offering a fresh perspective on life in the face of such a difficult year, YNX uses his one-of-a-kind style across 10 tracks to inspire people to take an optimistic approach to life in the face of adversity.

“It’s about looking at things with life, and for me specifically, life in music – with a different perspective,” YNX said. “Sometimes life gets difficult and it’s easy to get a pessimistic outlook. But I’m offering a different perspective that’s on the other end of the spectrum – something that’s optimistic about the situation. Success doesn’t happen overnight, and this album is encouraging people that they can make it if they continue to work.”

With “Rap Fans,” YNX kicks off the album showing off his experience in the industry – experience that has given him the chops to create high-quality music while laying down some sick lyrics. He uses the song to express his appreciation for artists who have come before him while also illustrating the journey he’s taken and how that has helped him to develop his own sense of style and originality.

“I’ve done a lot of tracks over the years with notable artists, but when you’re an artist, a lot of times other artists treat you differently because they think you can be a threat,” YNX said. “I had to separate that business side of my career with the fact that I’m a Rap fan. When it is business, it is business and it’s never personal. And when I want to enjoy the music, I become a real Rap fan. I’m a big fan of 90s Hip Hop. Nas is one of my favorite artists. I’m also a fan of old-school Soul. I sample some from that time period in my music. But more than anything, my content and my rhyme patterns are very different. I’m big on concepts and really drawing out a plot before I get on track. Add to that the fact that my voice is very distinguished – it has a very raspy, low tone that catches the listener’s attention."

That 90s sound that takes listeners back to the golden era of Hip Hop is something that has caught the attention of quite a few in the music industry over the years. As such, YNX has had the opportunity to appear on Shade45, and has collaborated with artists such as Conway The Machine and Kool G Rap. He hopes to have more collaboration in the future, and at the end of the day, he wants his music to help others through difficult situations.

“I want to be able to speak to people through music,” he said. “I pride myself on telling stories of people – like a single mother who might be doing everything on her own. I can speak on her behalf. Somebody has to tell her story. Or I might tell stories of young black males, as well. I tell stories for people who didn’t get a chance to tell their story or who aren’t musically involved.”

YNX said that following the release of his album, he’s planning on dropping some more singles over the next few months. His single “Fake Love” featuring Kool G Rap, however, is now available on all streaming platforms.

BTB BANDO - No More Games

BTB BANDO - No More Games

Upside-down world inspires young artist BTB Bando to embrace change and motivate others through new album ‘No More Games’

JACKSON, TN – If there’s one thing 2020 has taught the world, it’s that there’s no certainty when it comes to tomorrow. For rapper BTB Bando, that realization has led to a new approach to life, one which he captures perfectly on his new album “No More Games.”

Slated to release in December, this 15-song project from this young up-and-coming artist explores what life could look like if approached with the perspective that there might not be a tomorrow. It features his signature sound and style, with dripping flows and beats that are simultaneously otherworldly and familiar.

“I’ve been rapping for a long time but I haven’t been taking it as seriously as I could have,” he said. “Now I want to take it seriously because I’ve realized you can’t play no more games with life right now. It could end any day.”

Hailing from Jackson, Tennessee, BTB Bando refers to himself as a “music baby” saying that he’s been into music for as long as he can remember. He started making music at age 8 when he and a cousin would record songs from the radio onto cassette tapes and then use a microphone to rap over the top of those songs. Because of those fond memories, 90s Hip Hop is still some of his favorite music to date. But over time, he developed his own unique sound and style which he showcases expertly on this new album.

“I want to be known for my lyrics, mostly,” he said. “That’s what I focus on the most. My favorite rapper is Lil Wayne, and I like T.I.’s style. They’re known for their lyrics and for being great storytellers, and that’s what I’d like to be known for, too. I got different styles that can change at any time but mostly, I write about what I’m feeling at the moment or doing at that moment in my life. I go off my feelings. On this album, there’s a song I wrote for my grandma and there are a few stories about relationships. Basically, it’s a lot of stories pulled from my life and the feelings that came from those things.”

Though “No More Games” isn’t slated to drop until December, BTB Bando does have music across all streaming platforms for people to check out. Most of it is listed under his previous rap name, Money BTB. However, the debut single from the forthcoming album which will also be called “No More Games” is now out on streaming platforms.

OnajiDox - Answer Me

OnajiDox – Answer Me

New Hip Hop duo flexes sweet and sour sound with new singles ‘Answer Me and ‘Double Double’

ORLANDO, FL – The Japanese word for “same” is Onaji. But sometimes things that are the same are also equally different. It’s a paradox. Combine the two together and you have Onajidox, one of the hottest Hip Hop duos to hit the global market this year. Consisting of Heartbreak Aris and Tony RozayeOnajidox combines soulful melodies with hardcore Rap for a truly original sound. Their breakout single “Answer Me” went viral on YouTube, and now they’re ready to follow that up with more singles and a big global push that is sure to make them international superstars.

“We both like Anime and the whole Japanese culture, and we’re both the same when it comes to our love of music and the path we’re on,” Aris said. “But we sound different. It’s like sweet and sour. It doesn’t really make sense, but it works.”

That’s perhaps an understatement considering how many people have played the video for “Answer Me.” Exploring the struggle of reconciling feelings for another person after a breakup, the song touches on emotions with which people all over the world can connect. Featuring a melodic flow rapping style with vocals that capture the ache of a heartbreak, the song evokes thoughts of artists such as Roddy Ricch or A Boogie or 2Chainz. It has a nice bouncy sway with some groovy 808s that support a nice, smooth flow. More than anything, it’s a track that’s infectious and makes the listener want to hit repeat multiple times.

That’s the kind of music Onajidox wants to be known for – high quality sound with catchy lyrics and vibes that make fans want to sing along. That’s why they work so hard to perfect their craft. In fact, it’s that perfection that Tony said he appreciates so much about Aris.

“If I send him something and he feels like it can be better, then we’re gonna keep working until we can make it better,” Tony said. “In the studio, he helps me project my voice how I want, and if it sounds a little off, he won’t let me leave until it’s done. But that’s what it takes to be No. 1 on the Billboards. We want to be in the same conversation as Outkast or Migos of Kriss-Kross – all those great duos of the past. We want to be in that conversation.”

With “Double Double,” the follow-up single to “Answer Me,” Onajidox hopes to propel their unique sound and style to a much wider audience around the world. Slated to drop across all streaming platforms before the end of November, the song is, in Aris words, “like a big flex.”

“There are a lot of people out there who have really big egos and who think they’re more famous than they are,” Aris said. “We’re kind of calling that out and deflating that notion for people. It’s also another chance for us to show off how different we are and that whole sweet and sour vibe we give off. I think that’s what sets us apart from anyone else. When you see duos, they tend to stay in the same genre. But with us, it’s completely different every time. If you want to hear hardcore rap, punchline-in-your-face type of stuff, you’ve got Tony. And if you want to hear that soft, melodic sauce, you’ve got me. And at the end of the day, we want to be known as one of the greatest duos to ever exist. We want it to be so undeniable that there is no GOAT conversation for anyone else.”

Allen Lucas - Love

Allen Lucas - Love

Allen Lucas fills gap in Hip Hop world with new single ‘Love’

LIMA/TOLEDO, OHIO – Allen Lucas has a unique sound and style that can only be described as sophisticated ratchetness. That describes his personality as well as his signature vibe, which is connecting with music lovers all over the U.S. thanks to his new single “Love.” Combining the eclectic musical influences of his years in the Midwest with the sounds he’s picked up from his travels across the nation, Lucas creates a truly original feel that is equal parts captivating and familiar.

“I can go to an upscale club or a hole in the wall seamlessly,” Lucas said. “That’s why I call my sound sophisticated ratchetness. I can provide the same point of view no matter where I’m at and connect with people anywhere. I am the boy from off the corner and I’ve seen a few things in my life, but I’m trying to move the culture forward beyond the stereotypes that come with that kind of a background.”

Over the years, Lucas has spent time in New York, Atlanta, Miami and Los Angeles developing his own brand of music. His influences range from his roots in Gospel music to the West Coast influences in Hip Hop. He also has a taste of Down South in his sound combined with some upscale New York fashion thrown in.

“That’s the beauty of being from the Midwest,” he said. “You get all that thrown together into a kind of love relationship of sound and style. That’s the vibe I’m trying to capture on this new single, ‘Love.’”

Lucas said the song is based off the actions of love, not the emotions. It’s a song that explores a power couple building from the ground up and celebrating their successes over years of working hard on their relationship.

“It’s not something cheesy,” he said, “but rather something from a real point of view on a power couple and how they move. The inspiration came from me looking at what’s going on and what most people are doing right now in the Hip Hop world and realize that there was a gap for a love song. At the end of the day, I want to create feel-good music, and this song captures that perfectly. I like to feel good, to smile and to be happy and just have good times. ‘Love’ is something that couples can grab onto like it’s their song and in that way, it’s a song that can last forever.”

Lucas said he worked with J Bos Engineering out of Miami for production work on the song and that he has plans for a music video in the coming weeks. He’s also working on another single to release later this year, and possibly a third in early 2021.

ML Underwood - I Got Work

ML Underwood talks hard work in new single ‘I Got Work’

GARY, INDIANA – A man of many talents and lofty goals, ML Underwood is the definition of hard working. His latest single, “I Got Work” is a great example of that. A track that’s focused on working hard and achieving your dreams, this song is the anthem of the year.

Underwood grew up surrounded by music, whether it was at church, at home or out in the world. Having grown up in the same Indiana town as the family of Michael Jackson, his life was always full of music. “My dad was one of the people that helped the Jacksons raise money to get out on the road and support their career. I got started in music through things like that. I also grew up in a religious household, was in a band in school and got to experience a variety of different kinds of music. I played the trumpet and I even sang at school events.”

Growing up, Underwood was influenced by middle school and high school directors as well as the Rap groups that he participated in, Le Boyz and The Lover Boys. They helped him get to where he is as a recording artist as well as helped to shape his style as a musician. Mrs Hatcher and Mr Phillips, his music teachers in Elementary and High School also helped influenced him in music “Right now, I would define my sound as subtle. It is clean, subtle, sexy and just overall grown.

“I Got Work,” the latest track that Underwood has released, has his signature subtle feel to it, but also presents a bigger and much less subtle idea. “The idea of the song is to give people in urban communities a better way to make money than doing it in the streets. I put into the song that your business is your work and that means that your goals and whatever it is that you’re trying to be is your real work. It’s honest work. The title of the song might make you think that it is about making money off of drugs or on the streets, but it’s really the exact opposite. It is about building generational wealth and creating a future for yourself.”

Though “I Got Work” is Underwood’s latest track, it is far from his last. “I am always getting better and better. My goal is that every song I put out is better than the last. No matter how far I’ve gone, I’ve always got work to do.”

Underwood is more than just a musician. He has goals of expanding his artistic ventures and already does a variety of work in different industries. This includes founding and running his consulting agency, MyLife Entertainment and establishing the United Prisoner Association, which helps inmates who are wrongfully imprisoned as well as helping young people to turn their lives around.

“My goal is to go platinum and create a platform for more opportunities for myself and for others. I want to pave the way for other artists in my area so that they can have a fair shot and the chance to make it on their own. Right now, I have relationships and resources that have allowed me to get to where I am, and I hope that when I’m done, I can help young artists down the same path of success.”

Twan Luv - The Moment

Twan Luv - The Moment

Smooth rapper, singer and songwriter Twan Luv offers anthem to the world with new single ‘The Moment’

CONWAY, SC – Twan Luv is an authentic, smooth-style rapper, singer and songwriter whose music is best known for having a combination of Hip Hop and R&B. His latest single, “The Moment,” is a competitive anthem that’s primed to be one of the hottest tracks ever created, perfect for huge arenas and major sporting events.

“It’s a song that basically says, ‘I’m made for the moment, whatever it is,’” Twan Luv said. “If I’m in a different moment, I’m made for it. If I want to succeed, I’m made for it. Whatever moment you’re made for, you’re either gonna excel or fold. It could be sports or school or just life in general, there are always moments. And you have to embrace those moments because there’s no guarantee of tomorrow. So, let everyone know you’re made for it and do as much as you can to be ready for it.”

This upbeat anthem is yet another successful track from this fast-rising East Coast artist. Known for his versatility and ability to both sing and rap, Twan’s genuine flow has been turning heads for the better part of the past two years as he’s steadily risen through the ranks of the music industry. His musical influences are Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Drake, Jodeci and Nipsey Husssle – all of whom can be heard in one way or another across Twan’s music. But those are just influences and they don’t take away from the fact that this young artist has a sound and style that’s uniquely his own signature. Some have called him a lyrical genius, while others have said he’s the perfect crooner to be a ladies’ man. For Twan, he hopes his reputation becomes tied to good vibes and spreading love around the world.

“That’s what I want more than anything, that people get from me love, like my name,” he said. “I’m not hating or dissing, just love. That’s something we’re lacking in this world today. And when you start spreading love, people will realize that anything is possible. With Faith in God, you can do anything. That’s what I live my life by is faith, God and Love.”

Following the success of “The Moment,” Twan Luv said he’s planning on doubling down on love music with his new EP “Luver Day,” which he plans to drop in February 2021 close to Valentine’s Day. It’ll be a project that features a mixture of Party Music, Soul and R&B, he said, with vibes that will connect with a wide range of audiences.

“I want people to feel as if I’m in any situation with them,” he said. “And I want them to know that whatever I’m saying can help them get to that next level in their lives.”

Kushy Carlito - Superbad

Kushy Carlito - Superbad

Kushy Carlito drops anthem with new single ‘Superbad

LOS ANGELES, CA – From the gritty streets of Los Angeles by way of Compton comes Kushy Carlito, an up-and-coming artist and entertainer who is primed to take the game by storm.

Emerging onto the scene with his “kushy” flows and witty wordplay, Kushy Carlito delivers an array of records that portray tales of the struggle. With his transparent and sometimes painful lyrics, Kushy sheds light on issues in the community while also motivating others to “get that money.” His latest single “Superbad” is a feel-good anthem for all the hustlers of the world.

“It’s one of those motivational tracks that you can have fun with,” he said. “It’s an upbeat, party kind of song. But it also shows my more laid back vibe when I rap. I’m trying to be more positive with my music, and I think my messages make me stand out more than anything else.”

Kushy said that though he’s moving toward more of a positive image and message through his music, he can’t deny that the street life is survival of the fittest. But he’s come to recognize that every day is a blessing in and of itself, and he wants to bring that hopefulness to his music. He also wants to show other people living in the struggle that there is a way out of poverty and that pit of violence and crime – a way that’s healthy and honest.

“I’m musing my music to take my following along for the ride,” he said. “Money is the motive, as with anything else. Growing up in the hood, the youth seem to go down the same road to gain their riches – selling drugs or hitting house ‘licks.’ I often found myself caught up and eventually suffering the consequences of my foolish decisions. But I’ve decided to make some changes. With a 9-to-5 grind, I use my hustler’s mentality to fuel my real dream, which is music.”

Kushy said some of his biggest influences are Nipsey Hussle and Kendrick Lamar. When he decided to take music seriously and pursue it as a career, he studied those two artists relentlessly. He took those lessons and began putting in the work to master his craft with only one goal in mind: “Be your own boss.”

“That’s what ‘Superbad’ is ultimately about,” Kushy said. “I’m trying to create music that makes people change their mindsets or look at situations in different ways. I’m also trying to create something that’s gonna help them relax and just kick back and enjoy.”

Kushy said that following the release of “Superbad”, he’ll be working on shooting videos for some of his singles and said fans should be looking for a new single called “Movie” within the next couple of weeks.

ISO-O - Make It

ISO-O - Make It

R&B anthem ‘Make It’ from ISO-O serves as perfect vibe for the Fall

TORONTO, ONTARIO – ISO-O is about to make it big in the music industry with his latest hit single “Make It.” Currently available across all streaming platforms, “Make It” is the perfect R&B vibe for the Fall. Soft, melodic, and inspired by the ambitions of a dreamer, this single not only relates to all those in the world who have ever longed for something but also serve as a kind of anthem for those who finally realize their dreams.

“Yes, it’s a song about making it in the music industry but more than that, it’s a story of how far I’ve come over the years and getting to a place where I really can say that I’ve made it,” ISO-O said. “I’ve been through a lot just to be able to say that, and this song is that vibe that captures that triumphant feeling.”

ISO-O said his unique sound and style could best be described as melodic trap. He said his versatility is the best trademark of his signature style, boasting that he has “a thousand flows” that he can pull off with any and every beat from any genre imaginable.

“If there’s a soft R&B beat or a hard Trap beat, I can still use my unique flows,” he said. “I’ve got so many melodic flows – new flows with new melodies or old school flows. More than anything, I want my music to be known as fire. If you see an ISO-O song, you know it’s gonna be heat. And when it comes to most songs, I try to aim for anthems – those huge tracks where crowds of people are screaming and yelling. I’m very good at making good hooks with catchy, melodic choruses that get stuck in your head but you love it.”

Part of what makes ISO-O so great is his dedication to his craft. He is constantly working on new rhymes and writing new flows, which is illustrated on the cover art for his new single by featuring a trashcan filled to overflowing with wadded up paper balls.

“I wanted to capture the idea of perfection because that’s what I want for my music,” he said. “I’m constantly revising and trying again and again until that perfect idea is crafted. I’m like that superstar basketball player who always gets an isolation play and puts defenders on an island because he can always beat them one-on-one. I feel like I’m an isolator. Not only have I felt isolated and alone in my life doing my own thing and chasing what I believe in. But if I were to put you on an island when it comes to music, it’s over.”

ISO-O said “Make It” has been making waves in the music industry for much of 2020 with tons of plays across all streaming platforms. He said he’s looking forward to giving fans new music in early 2021, as well.

Hollowed B. - K. O.

Hollowed B. - K. O.

Hyped up anthem ‘K.O.’ helps put NY artist Hollowed B. on the map

BUFFALO, NY – Picture the next heavyweight champion of the world walking out to the ring for his next big bout. There’s a song playing in the arena as he walks down the aisle. It gets him hyped up. It gets you hyped up. It gets the entire auditorium hyped up.

That song could be the new single from New York artist Hollowed B. called “K.O.” Filled with energy and superfast flow, the song is the latest from this fast-rising artist whose unique sound and style is lighting up the music industry all along the East Coast. It’s a song that perfectly represents who he wants to be as an artist, embracing both a versatility and an attention to detail that when combined makes him a truly standout superstar.

“You’ll get three different styles throughout the whole song which I think shows I’m truly adaptive to any sound,” Hollowed B said. “I’ve got multiple styles that I use frequently. From the wordplay to the tempo to the speed to the lyrics, you’ll be able to tell it’s me as soon as you hear the first note.”

Repping what he calls a dual citizenship in the 716 to the two cities he calls home – Buffalo and Dunkirk – Hollowed B. has a very unique sound that finds its influences in artists such as BustaRhymes, Kendric Lamar, Tek-9, Tupac, and Biggie. There’s also a Twista kind of a speed to his flow, and a 2Chainz or Snoop Dogg smooth flow on some other singles.

“My music is real, bluntly honest and 100 percent mine,” he said. “I work hard in the studio and usually everything is produced, mixed and mastered by me. I write a lot of songs across all genres and I just want to be known for creating great music – timeless, long-lasting music. That’s what I want my name to be known for. I want to create something close to perfection in music because to me it’s more than just music. There’s a message in every one of my songs.”

Following the success of “K.O.,” which is currently available across all streaming platforms, Hollowed B. said he’s planning on dropping a new single every month which is something he’s been doing for the past five or six months. Along the way, he’s been on the Coast2Coast Mixtape Tour and recorded close to 1,000 songs.

Morgan Mowinski & A2 - Rainy Days

Morgan Mowinski & A2 - Rainy Days

R&B and Pop pair with future-sounding production on new EP from Morgan Mowinski and A2

FLINT, MI – A new EP from Michigan R&B artist Morgan Mowinski and producer A2 perfectly captures the ethereal feeling of 2020 and the liminal space in which so many people find themselves during this time of “Temporary Isolation.” With an otherworldly blend of A2’s distinct style and Mowinski’s truly original vocals, “Temporary Isolation” is the kind of groundbreaking project that will have fans all over the world begging for more.

The debut single from the project is a song called “Rainy Days.” The definitive R&B feel of the track showcases a Pop-infused vocal from Mowinski that has an ethereal quality that soars over the top of the synthesized 808s. With interchangeable syncopated rhythms and sultry vocals, the song offers a light and airy groove that makes anyone listening want to sway and immediately puts them in a mellow mood.

“All of the songs on the EP were put together during quarantine and collaborated on from a distance,” Mowinski said. “It’s a unique project that can’t be duplicated with its original style. Essentially, we’re exploring what it’s like to be in quarantine and the experiences we had during that time. And through that we want to relate it to everyone else’s experience this year.”

The two artists have known each other for the past couple of years and have had the opportunity to work on other projects together. But Mowinski said this EP is the most in-depth collaboration they’ve had and as such, it required a great deal of back-and-forth communication and attention to detail. A2 would create loops or new beats and send them to Mowinski who would write and send back her own ideas. Through that unorthodox collaboration, the two were able to create something that’s truly unlike anything that has ever come before.

“I feel that we do have a very different sound, though it’s kind of hard to explain,” Mowinski said. “I’m an R&B and Pop artist but I have a different way of going over a beat than other people would, I think. I’m very personal and open with music. Whatever I’m feeling, it’s 150 percent in the song. You know how I feel or what I was feeling at the time I wrote it. I’m very vulnerable with the music and I want to connect with people that way. Connecting and bringing people closer together is 100 percent what I want to do. When you hear one of my songs, I want you to be able to relate to it. That’s what I did with music when I was growing up. Whether I was sad or happy or whatever, I always related to a song or some piece of music, and I want other people to feel that way, too.”

A2 also said he takes a different approach when producing, which he thinks adds another layer of originality to their combined sound.

“Every song I do, I always stack four parts – kind of like the Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass – across everything,” he said. “It could be instruments or vocals or whatever. That makes the sound more full and helps to create that kind of pyramid of sound. Then I build everything from that foundation. I like futuristic, space-sounding music, but I like to make it sound different than anybody else’s music today. And with drums I also go for a newer sound and try to use more synthesizers or truck leads. ‘Temporary Isolation’ is a great example.”

As Mowinski and A2 continue to ride the wave of success from their new EP and the debut single, they’re also already working on a new song that should come out in December or January.

Ric-a-Sha - Black Latina

Ric-a-Sha - Black Latina

Ric-a-Sha taps into ‘street spiritual’ sound with new single ‘Black Latina’

TAMPA BAY, FL – Ricardo “Ric-a-Sha” Stuvaints is an artist who has risen from the depths of one of the darkest cities in the U.S. and overcome multiple near-death experiences to become one of the industry’s most promising young entertainers. Originally from McKeesport, Pennsylvania – dubbed the fourth most dangerous city in the nation – Ric-a-Sha has lived a life most only read about in stories. He literally dodged bullets as a teenager on multiple occasions before eventually getting shot five times in 2016. And though music was always a mainstay of his life, the shooting in 2016 changed everything for him and convinced him to change his life. He turned to music as a career, and hasn’t looked back since.

“I come from a rough background and I was not always living the right life. But when I got shot, it changed everything for me,” Ric-a-Sha said. “When I got discharged from the hospital, I was basically homeless, and if I had gone back to being homeless in that condition, it would have been crazy. I would have died. But a man who I consider to be one of the best men on earth, Mr. G, was there when I woke up and he saved my life. He paid for my flight to go to Dallas and he helped me realize my career as a musician. That’s when I did the ‘Youngin Thuggin’ video, and everything kind of fell into place after that.”

Eventually, Ric-a-Sha would make his way to Florida where he’s been writing and recording music ever since. His latest single, “Black Latina,” has been making waves throughout the industry since its release last month across all streaming platforms. Showcasing his vocal range and one-of-a-kind flow, “Black Latina” is the kind of sultry song with which every man in the world can connect.

“It’s a love story about this beautiful Dominican girl,” Ric-a-Sha said. “When I was 19-years-old, I was in a relationship with a Dominican girl from the Polo Grounds. We went on a few dates and on one particular date, I just really felt like I wanted to be with her. She was something else and it was an awesome experience for me. Every man has a woman like that in his life, and she was the motivation behind this song for me.”

Ric-a-Sha said the song demonstrates a unique sound and style that he calls “street spiritual.” It’s a signature style that he hopes to become known for as he continues to spread his music around the world. Since his awakening following the shooting in 2016, Ric-a-Sha has committed himself not only to becoming a better man but also to giving back to his community. While he was in Dallas, he worked at Soul For Christ Ministries and has continued to volunteer at various nonprofit organizations and ministries.

“I’ve basically been going through six years of change, but most of it over the past four years since I was shot,” he said. “Over that time, I’ve embraced this idea of “street spiritual”. That’s my mantra. It’s my motivation. And it’s my movement. That’s what I’m all about, and that’s what I want my music to be about, too.”

Byzantine - ILL

Byzantine - ILL

Saints of the Byzantine Era drop timely wisdom through counter-cultural message on new single ‘ILL’

BALTIMORE, MD & PHILADELPHIA, PA – Byzantine is a new edgy Hip Hop group from Baltimore and Philadelphia whose music represents a light in a dark period. Adopting monikers of Saints of the Byzantine Era, these masterful artists use cautionary tales, songs of hope and good vibes paired with grit from the streets to offer a refreshing aura to the world of Hip Hop.

The six artists who make up the group are St. Basil, St Justinian, St Percinnius, St. Leo, St. Phocas and St. Zeno.  Together they’re introducing their unique sound and style to the world with their single “ILL” which features another artist named St. Justinian. Originally introduced to the group as an idea from St Justinian, the song offers a platform upon which each of the artists is able to spit some hot lyrics and showcase their individual styles while also offering a timely message to the world.

“Each of us individually has a different sound,” St. Leo said. “I’m more laid back, while St. Zeno and St. Phocas are more animated than myself. When we come together, we blend well together. No one else out there has that type of bond when they rap. Most groups you see today will have one artist carrying the rest of the group, but we’re all carrying each other and we all bring that same level of talent to the table.”

The idea behind the Byzantine brand was first formulated by a mutual mentor of the artists. They’ve all rapped separately and worked on individual music careers while also rubbing shoulders through collaborations and through family affiliations. When their mentor suggested the idea of forming a group with the Byzantine mission behind it, they each began to gravitate toward one another.

“There was an immediate natural chemistry,” St. Basil said. “As we talked about this idea of the Byzantine Era and taking the names of these saints – who represented things that an intellectually and socially unenlightened world needed to hear – we realized that we’re in the same type of time now. When we rap, we’re rapping the opposite of what the world sees or thinks. We flip things right side up through our music.”

According to St. Phocas, the big picture for the group is creating music that is thought-provoking, aggressively challenging, and inspiring through its personal and sometimes convicting messages.

“We want people to understand we’re not talking about the same things everybody else is talking about,” St. Phocas said. “We’re not degrading our women or our brothers and sisters like a lot of other Hip Hop artists do today. We’re making songs that sound good and also have a deeper message.”

Their unique sound and style has definitely put them on the map within the music industry. Their music has been featured on regular rotation with Sway in the Morning, and it has also been featured on Air It Out Radio. With more music in the works following the success of “ILL,” Byzantine is sure to become one of Hip Hop’s most motivational and long-lasting groups.

ADIHA - The Boogeyman

ADIHA - The Boogeyman

International artist and author ADIHA examines forbidden love with unique story-song concept for The Burning One

HOUSTON, TX – An alluring story of forbidden love between a young woman and a mysterious dark figure takes shape in the first installment of “The Burning One” series, created by exotic and mysterious artist ADIHA.  Weaving this unique story through multiple mediums—from a book to film to animations to music—ADIHA explores the attraction to misunderstood darkness, personified in her story as a jinn-being. Jinn are more commonly known in Western culture as genies. We are all too familiar with the lovable “Genie” from Aladdin, but in contrast, ADIHA’s jinn character is a byproduct of haunting folklore, allowing her interpretation of jinn to have a darker, more mysterious connotation.  Stories suggest that jinn are a different kind of being made from “smokeless fire,” and that these amorphous entities live amongst us, probably in some inter-dimensional plane.

“’The Burning One’ tells the tale of a human girl who forms a relationship with a male jinn – a being made from fire,” ADIHA confirms. “It’s a concept that I’ve worked on for many years, and I was inspired by this idea since childhood.  We would tell our own scary ‘jinn’ stories, which to me, were much scarier than ghost stories.  Jinn are beings too, understood from religious text and from literature like The Arabian Nights.  And I think that’s the most interesting part of it for me, that they coexist with humans but are separated by interdimensional boundaries.  Many people do not like to talk about jinn because they’re afraid the interest will attract them into our world.  I’ve gotten more than a few angry stares from adults when I was a child, asking them more about the topic of my intrigue.  I’m trying to use something with a basis in history, religion, and folklore to create an interesting, and albeit probably taboo, fictional story.”

That story unfolds in multiple ways in a multimedia approach with an initial release of five songs – the first of which is a new song called “The Boogeyman” that was released on Halloween weekend. ADIHA will continue the story every other week with new single releases on Fridays. And each single will be accompanied by a tantalizing excerpt of the story. “The Boogeyman” is an introduction to the story, setting the stage for the rest of the series. The young girl encounters the jinn as a child. He scares her by showing up in her room while she’s sleeping and threatening to “bite her toes off.”  However, at the same time he charms her “like Michelangelo at his rough marble slab” by making her daydreams come to life from the “as-yet unhewn reality.” It’s the first step in what will become a complicated inter-dimensional relationship, ADIHA said – one that will ultimately reach its climax with the last single in this installment, “Quantum Entanglement.”

“With ‘The Boogeyman’ I wanted to have more of a Middle Eastern vibe to pay homage to the historical roots of the jinn concept,” ADIHA said. “You can hear the drums and the background music that have kind of an Arabic feel to it, and even in the music video, you’ll see me wearing some traditional clothing. But every song in this story will have its own sound. The next song that comes out on Friday the 13th will be haunting and more classical, while ‘Quantum Entanglement’ will be more atmospheric and dreamy. But all of them will fall into that darker place because that’s the tone that fits my story.  The dark is often considered ugly, but sometimes the most beautiful things can come from the dark.  I’ve learned this from my own life.  It’s okay to appreciate the dark.”

ADIHA is no stranger to music, having trained professionally as a vocalist, she focused on classical pieces and opera in her previous years.  Her dad is a guitarist and had his own band in his younger years in Pakistan called The Sound of the Silhouettes, accounting for much of ADIHA’s inherited love of music.  Though she has always had a love for music, she’s spent much of the previous decade going to dental school and practicing as a dentist. But 2020 brought major changes in her life and inspired her to get back in touch with her passion for music and storytelling. She’s spent much of her life creating the world of “The Burning One”, she’s spent much of this year bringing this world to life, and she’s excited now to share the “multiverse” of storytelling with audiences far and wide.

Midwest Diplomat - They Don't Know About Us

Midwest Diplomat - They Don't Know About Us

Midwest Diplomat is all about originality, identity and a gnarly vibe in his new release ‘They Don’t Know About Us’

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – A musician who is all about expressing his identity and being true to himself, Midwest Diplomat is a man of many experiences. His latest single “They Don’t Know About Us,” featuring Caitlynn Fox and Tyler Harris, discusses some of his experiences as a college fraternity member, detailing it in a way that is both relatable and easy to listen to.

Midwest Diplomat’s journey began through music based therapy. “Originally music was therapy for me. By the time I hit high school, I was dealing with some issues related to my schizophrenia, which I hadn’t been diagnosed with yet. It became very therapeutic for me even though much of what I was doing at the time was just playing follow-the-leader. When I got to college, I started to pick up on it, though, as a way to connect with people. It’s really just continued from there.”

A man of many talents, Midwest Diplomat has a wide range as a musician. His current music has influences from genres such as Pop-Rap, Party-Rap, Rock-Rap, Pop, Electronic, Country, R&B, Polka, Funk, Alternative and Trap music. Despite this, he doesn’t go by any direct label as a musician. “To put it simply, my music is gnarly, diplomatic and original. There is more than one side to me as a person and I think that’s important to be aware of. Of course I enjoy the fun, party lifestyle, but I also want that happily-ever-after. Similarly, I like to connect my music to different genres and ideas and bring them together into one.”

“They Don’t Know About Us” is a song that brings together Midwest Diplomat’s past and future. The track talks about how people would see him as a college student and how he has grown from that. “In the beginning, the song was about my fraternity and my life as a part of it. I realized pretty quickly though, that it was much more than that especially now, because my fraternity has grown so much in their own right. We keep finding more people to help us grow and break the mold, and I think that relates to the song really well.”

This song features both a singer and saxophone player from the Indiana based band called The Indigos. Bringing them into the project helped Midwest Diplomat create his vision with “They Don’t Know About Us,” and continues to help further his point of growth, community and identity.

Keep an eye out for more to come from Midwest Diplomat as he is gearing up to a possible new album to come out sometime within the year and is looking to set up a tour in the near future. Until then, you can find him in the Indianapolis area, cultivating their music scene and working on his graduate degree.
