Solomon Vaughn, aka Boonie Mayfield, aka Boon Doc, hails from Colorado, USA and rose to internet stardom by performing live Hip Hop beats on his MPC 1000 and sharing said performances on Youtube before doing so became a thing. Over the years, he matured as an artist, was robbed of almost all of his equipment and managed to re-emerge as a multi-instrumentalist who no longer depended on sampled material and instead created the type of music that beat-makers would dream of sampling. Unfortunately, not all of his fan base appreciated his progress. Despite the fact that his newer works showed a stepped improvement both technically and musically over his older works, his fan base shrank. Maybe it was because many of his fans were aspiring producers who got left behind in the wake of his progress.  Or maybe his shift towards more soulful music threw them off. Jay Hollin was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1989. Throughout the 90s – 2000’s Jay was inspired by such artists as Tupac,Eazy E, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 cent, T-Pain, and the Neptunes. At home he grew up as an only child who listened to a wide rage of music. From 2004-2008 Hollin spent most of his time writing lyrics but focusing on school. Music was a way to channel his inner thoughts and release them in a positive way. In 2008 Jay Hollin attended Devry University where he brought his first mic at the book store. After that the rest was history. From 2009-2010 Jay Hollin upgraded his recording software and began recording with his then label “SDIMG” after being recruited by another up and coming artist Soulja Corleone (Ceo of SDIMG). He began working with other rappers such as Legend, Kidd, & Yung Rocky. In late 2012 he released his first album “Recreation”.

 Over the last few years, Dj Mil-Ticket has become a house hold name and the support has been growing by the hundreds each and everyday. Known for having an accurate ear for the hottest sounds in the streets, many artists flocked to him to break their music on the countless mixtapes that Dj Mil- Ticket has produced. Other music lovers, who are not in the performing arena often hit up Mil-Ticket to expose new artists to him rather known or unknown. Like always, he listens. Quite often, supporters of Dj Mil-Ticket will ask when can they find certain artists on upcoming Mixtapes. Staying true to the fans, Dj Mil-Ticket came up with the idea for "The People's Choice" mixtape along with the help of Lil Durk and his brother Dthang.
